District 9 is a classic sci fi adventure, one which movie watchers will be viewing for years to come. When a race of aliens crash land over Johannesburg, South Africa, they are quickly segregated away into their own community. Forced to live in squalor and poverty, the new arrivals are looked down upon with fear and hatred by the human populace of the city.
In this movie watch as a sole human bureaucrat learns to stand against the system. At first he looks down on the aliens like anyone else, but after becoming infected with their genetic makeup he is forced to take a hard look at the way they are being treated by the supposedly superior humans.
